Job Description

Evaluates and treats residents with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities per state and federal guidelines.

  • Provides direct treatment under physician’s direction based on care plans.
  • Screens, evaluates, and develops care plans for residents.
  • Conducts rehabilitative programs to restore communication and swallowing efficiency.
  • Administers and interprets specialized tests.
  • Instructs residents and families on monitoring and practicing skills.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Devises specialized tools for patient needs.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, state license, clinical competency certification, and preferred one year of experience.
