Job Description
Evaluates and treats residents with speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities per state and federal guidelines.
Provides direct treatment under physician’s direction based on care plans.
Screens, evaluates, and develops care plans for residents.
Conducts rehabilitative programs to restore communication and swallowing efficiency.
Administers and interprets specialized tests.
Instructs residents and families on monitoring and practicing skills.
Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
Devises specialized tools for patient needs.
Qualifications include a Masters in Speech Language Pathology, state license, clinical competency certification, and preferred one year of experience.
