Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining rehabilitation programs for individuals with mental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Key duties include:

• Planning rehabilitation programs that incorporate manual arts, vocational skills, daily living activities, and recreational therapy.
• Selecting activities tailored to each patient’s needs and coordinating with other therapeutic services.
• Teaching patients skills for independence and evaluating their progress.
• Recommending adaptive equipment to enhance patient functionality.
• Preparing materials for sessions and maintaining tools.
• Conducting training programs and potentially fitting adaptive devices.
