Nursing Assistant

Job Description

This position involves assisting with resident care in a facility, including identifying residents, reporting incidents, and maintaining confidentiality of health information. Key responsibilities include:

• Administering treatments and serving meals while ensuring resident safety.
• Documenting changes in residents’ conditions and reporting to nursing staff.
• Preparing residents’ rooms and assisting with personal belongings during transfers.
• Monitoring residents’ needs and providing after-meal care.
• Following established policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
• Maintaining a clean environment and ensuring residents have access to water.

Qualifications include an 8th-grade education, effective communication skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks. No supervisory responsibilities are required.
