The Admissions RN is responsible for presenting VITAS services to patients and families, evaluating hospice appropriateness, obtaining admission agreements, analyzing data, building referral relationships, and maintaining clinical competence. Job requirements include knowledge of intake processes, effective communication skills, clinical knowledge, and proficiency in VITAS systems. Qualifications include RN licensure, healthcare experience, strong presentation skills, and preferably a bachelor’s degree.
