Job Description

The RN – Nights/Weekends provides nursing care, supervises staff, and develops individualized care plans for patients in a behavioral health setting.

  • Assesses and documents patient status, implements treatment plans, and communicates with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Administers medications, transcribes physician orders, and monitors patient responses, ensuring medication safety and accuracy.
  • Completes admission/discharge processes and maintains thorough, accurate documentation.
  • Collaborates with treatment team, provides patient and family education, and participates in unit activities.
  • Manages staffing needs, ensures client safety, and provides emergency coverage as needed.
  • Requires RN licensure, preferred experience in behavioral health, and certifications in psychiatric nursing. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.
