Job Description
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at an urgent care and/or occupational health setting is responsible for evaluating and treating patients, providing compassionate care, documenting care, coding and billing appropriately, maintaining clinical productivity, and following up on patient care. They impact the organization by creating valuable patient relationships. Requirements include active North Carolina medical license, NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification, BLS certification, EHR proficiency, and comfort with all age groups. Additional skills such as x-ray interpretation, suturing, and previous urgent care experience are valued but not required.
