Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist assesses, administers, monitors, and provides therapy for respiratory care procedures.
Minimum qualifications include successful completion of a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program and an active New Mexico RCP license in good standing.
Must hold NBRC RRT credential and BLS certification; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
Requires manual dexterity to operate equipment and deliver therapy across all age groups; experience in diverse age-specific competency is preferred.
Supervised by the Manager of Respiratory Therapy Center.
Works in an environment with routine exposure to aerosol or serum-borne pathogens and performs CPR and related physical tasks.
