Job Description

The IMC Step-Down/Cardiac Unit is a 36-bed facility focused on cardiac care for post-operative patients, including those who have undergone CABG, heart caths, and valve replacements. The unit also accommodates general medical-surgical patients with cardiac histories requiring telemetry monitoring and critical cardiac drips. Staff are trained to identify and respond to medical issues promptly. Opportunities for patient assessments, teaching, IVs, wound care, and medication management are available. The unit promotes flexible scheduling and a collaborative team environment.
