The Registered Nurse I (RN I) in the Nursing Float department is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, evaluation, and documentation.
Ensures quality communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism while coordinating patient teaching and safety initiatives.
Completes mandatory and unit-specific competencies, participates in peer review, and contributes to educational activities.
Maintains current licensure, BLS certification, and relevant specialty certifications.
Provides care based on human development stages using the nursing process and maintains effective communication.
