Registered Nurse (RN)/ AMC Med Surg

Job Description

• Position: Registered Nurse in Med Surg Department, full-time night shift (7:00pm-7:30am, 72 hours per pay period).
• Provides medical, surgical, oncology, and telemetry nursing care for inpatient and observation patients in a unit with 48 private rooms and 6 airborne isolation rooms.
• Supports patients needing cardiac monitoring, complex post-op care, chemotherapy, infusion services, and immunosuppressed management.
• Partners with patients and families to deliver holistic care, ensuring safety, professionalism, and adherence to standards.
• Utilizes evidence-based nursing processes, collaborates with the healthcare team, and maintains compliance with licensure and ethical standards.
• Requires an associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred); Ohio RN license, CPR certification, and basic computer skills.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience optional for experienced RNs seeking certification pathway.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential.
