Job Description
The RN II in Pulmonary Care is responsible for applying nursing skills across assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation, ensuring quality communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
They oversee patient care, direct patient teaching, participate in safety initiatives, and support staff activities.
Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, Virginia RN license or eligibility, BLS certification, and prior RN experience (minimum 1872 hours or 936 with BSN).
Preferred qualifications include BSN and specialty certifications.
Responsibilities also involve completing yearly competencies, assuming charge nurse duties, participating in department initiatives, and maintaining a professional portfolio.
