Job Description
The Registered Nurse II (RN II) is responsible for providing patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring safety, quality, and effective communication.
Maintains professional standards, completes mandatory and unit-specific competencies, and participates in leadership activities such as charge nurse duties and quality initiatives.
Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN), with a BSN preferred, and a valid Virginia RN license or eligibility.
Must have BLS certification; relevant specialty certifications are preferred.
Provides care suited to diverse patient needs, uses the nursing process, and maintains current documentation.
