Job Description
A Licensed Primary Therapist aids patients in recovering from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders through counseling, education, and support. Responsibilities include:
- Clinical monitoring and implementation of treatment programs.
- Developing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Conducting assessments and follow-up therapy sessions.
- Acting as a liaison between nursing and operations staff.
- Documenting treatment responses and ensuring compliance with care standards.
- Participating in quality assurance initiatives.
- Providing in-service education and preparing performance reports.
- Assisting in suicide prevention efforts.
Required qualifications include a relevant license in Kansas, a Bachelors degree in a related field, and preferably two years of mental health experience. The position offers a salary of $55,000 – $85,000 with benefits.
