Job Description
Summary: Organizes and conducts physical therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability. Plans therapy using exercises, massage, and equipment, while evaluating and reporting on patient progress.
Responsibilities:
Interprets and implements physician prescriptions.
Supervises and instructs physical therapy assistants and support staff.
Contributes to performance evaluations of staff.
Ensures confidentiality and patient safety.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school.
Knowledge of APTA Code of Ethics.
Excellent communication skills.
New graduates accepted; experience preferred.
Current Texas Physical Therapy license and CPR certification required.
