Job Description
The Physician at this urgent care and occupational health setting is responsible for evaluating and treating patients, providing compassionate care, documenting care, coding and billing appropriately, maintaining clinical productivity, following up on patient care, and supervising APPs. They must have an active Missouri state medical license, D.E.A., Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine diploma, completion of Residency, current Specialty Board Certification, active BLS, EHR proficiency, and may need DOT Certification. Preferred skills include x-ray interpretation, suturing, and board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine. The Physician’s impact is in providing exemplary patient care to build community relationships. Must be comfortable with all age groups, work occasional weekends and holidays, and be willing to undergo DOT Certification training if needed.
