Pharmacy technicians work under Clinical Pharmacists to provide pharmacy services with compassion and efficiency. Responsibilities include preparing drug orders, maintaining patient records, issuing controlled substances, and ensuring safe drug therapies. They must have a high school diploma, pharmacy experience, and be a registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice. Occupational hazards include exposure to hazardous substances and musculoskeletal injuries. The work schedule is full-time.
