Job Description

Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons to transport hazmat and other materials to and from specified destinations. Responsibilities include driving in compliance with laws, maintaining logs, loading/unloading, inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, assisting with operational duties, ensuring cleanliness, working in various weather conditions, and maintaining required licenses. The job involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions, fumes, and occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds, with specific vision and mobility requirements. Competencies include customer service, quality management, cost consciousness, adaptability, safety, punctuality, and following procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write simple instructions, basic math skills, and reasoning ability. A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with hazmat and tanker endorsements, along with a DOT physical, is necessary. No computer skills are required. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
