This job involves performing imaging and therapeutic services in the Radiology Department to provide diagnostic information for patient treatment at WVU Medicine. Minimum qualifications include completion of an Accredited Radiography School, ARRT registration, and Basic Life Support certification. Core duties include rotating in diagnostic areas, producing high-quality images, minimizing radiation exposure, and educating patients. Physical requirements include standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. The working environment involves exposure to minimal radiation and bodily fluids. Skills needed include positive interaction with patients and the healthcare team, prioritization, and ability to improvise in different situations.
