NP Residency Preceptor (PRN)

Job Description

The Faculty Preceptor in the NP Residency program will mentor and educate Nurse Practitioner residents 1-2 days per week. Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical instruction, supervision, and evaluation to ensure residents develop necessary skills for independent practice.
• Collaborating on curriculum development and delivering educational sessions.
• Mentoring residents and guiding them in achieving learning objectives.
• Conducting assessments and providing feedback on clinical performance.
• Engaging in interprofessional collaboration and communication.
• Participating in administrative duties, including residency program meetings and recruitment.

Qualifications include a valid NP license, clinical proficiency, and teaching experience preferred.
