Job Description

Responsible for managing one or more lab sections (e.g., histology, microbiology). Establishes goals, coordinates lab administration, and ensures compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing departmental staff and customer service initiatives.
  • Managing hiring, evaluations, and staffing.
  • Preparing and maintaining budgets.
  • Monitoring quality control and performance improvement.
  • Ensuring equipment functionality and personnel training.
  • Representing the lab in hospital committees.

    • Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, 3-5 years of clinical lab experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, and relevant certifications.

    Full-time position.
