Job Description

The Intake RN performs patient assessments and facilitates admissions, evaluating clinical needs and coordinating with medical teams.

  • Responsibilities include documenting symptoms, obtaining approvals, reviewing charts, and communicating treatment plans.
  • May administer medications under supervision, monitor lab results, and ensure proper medication management.
  • Coordinates transfers, verifies insurance benefits, and maintains accurate documentation.
  • Requires RN license, preferably BSN, with experience in mental health or substance use admissions.
  • Skills include strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal abilities, along with CPR and de-escalation certification.
