Job Description

*Important:* This position is based in Louisiana, and requires relocation for the length of the travel contract

*Contract Length: *13 weeks

*Pay:* $2,014.00 per week

*Description/Requirements*

*Telemetry RN Travel Opportunity*

Telemetry RNs (Tele RNs) consult with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans. The Tele RN utilizes machines that measure a patient’s heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, as well as blood oxygen levels and electrocardiogram information. Tele RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Tele RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies
* Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient
* Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member
* Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays
* $1000 bonus ($500 to be awarded after 3-4 weeks, $500 to be awarded upon full completion of 13 weeks)
* *Requires 2 years RN experience with recent experience in the specialty you are applying for.*
