We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care services to patients while working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal outcomes. *Key Responsibilities*
* Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy treatments for patients in an inpatient setting.
* Administer medications, oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and other respiratory interventions as prescribed by physicians.
* Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function tests, to evaluate patients’ respiratory conditions.
* Monitor patients’ responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
* Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment usage, and disease management.
* Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
* Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
*Qualifications*
* *Licensure:* Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Arizona.
* *Certification:* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) considered.
* *Education:* Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
* *Experience:* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
* *Skills:* Proficiency in ventilator management, ABG analysis, and emergency response. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* *Other Requirements:* Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
