Job Description
The Early Childhood Therapist provides clinical services to children birth to five, including outpatient and home-based therapy, assessment, crisis intervention, and consultation.
Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and manages therapy with a focus on evidence-based approaches.
Works collaboratively with team members, community agencies, and families to plan and evaluate mental health services.
Maintains client records, ensures proper billing, and participates in training and program development.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, licensure eligibility, and at least two years of child mental health experience.
Strong communication, cultural competence, and knowledge of early childhood mental health theories are essential.
Work involves community travel, office and home visits, and crisis response, with adherence to safety protocols.
