Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse in Med Surg at Atrium Medical Center. Full-time Nights 7:00pm-7:30am/ 72 Hours Per Pay. Provides medical, surgical, oncology & telemetry nursing care for inpatient and observation patients. Unit equipped with telemetry monitors. Specialties include general medical, pulmonary, geriatrics, oncology, palliative care, and end-of-life care. Inpatient oncology nursing care specializing in chemotherapy administration, central access devices, complex post-operative nursing care, infusion services, and managing immunosuppressed patients. 6 negative pressure rooms for patients requiring airborne isolation. Total capacity is 48 private rooms. RN partners with patients/families to provide support. Utilizes nursing process and evidence-based principles. Must have Associate degree in Nursing, Ohio RN license, and CPR certification. No prior job-related work experience required. Basic computer knowledge, multitasking ability, strong organization, and interpersonal skills.
