Job Description

Provide mental health/substance abuse treatment at the Pittsfield Based Community Behavioral Health Center. Responsibilities include completing assessments, maintaining client records, coordinating treatment, providing consultation to community agencies, and participating in team planning. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a clinical concentration, LCSW/LICSW/LMHC certification, diagnostic and treatment skills, and experience in counseling. Skills required are teamwork, communication, leadership, and computer proficiency. Other requirements include passing background checks, adhering to agency policies, flexibility in scheduling, promoting consumer rights, and representing the agency professionally. Working conditions involve office and community settings with evening and weekend hours. Physical conditions require manual and visual dexterity.
