Job Description
This nursing position requires a graduate of an accredited RN program with a current New Mexico or Compact state license. BLS certification is mandatory, with other certifications obtained within 6 months.
Skills include age-appropriate patient care, effective communication, and respect for patient rights.
Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager, working in a clean, ventilated environment with exposure to infectious diseases and X-rays.
The role involves handling emergency situations, prolonged standing, and physical tasks such as repositioning patients and equipment, requiring good vision, hearing, manual dexterity, and physical stamina.
Work hours are flexible to accommodate emergencies and schedule changes.
