Job Description

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the specific age group, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality services aligned with unit standards and organizational goals.

  • Requires graduation from an accredited RN program and a current New Mexico or Compact state license.

  • Must obtain BLS within 2 weeks and other certifications within 6 months of hire; ongoing maintenance required.

  • Possesses current knowledge of patient care needs, communicates effectively, and respects patient rights.

  • Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager; works in a clinical environment with exposure to infectious diseases and emergencies.

  • Physical requirements include handling emergencies, prolonged standing/walking, patient transfers, and fine motor skills.
