Job Description
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient care tailored to the specific age group, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in line with unit standards and organizational goals.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state.
Certification in BLS within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications must be obtained within 6 months and maintained.
Possesses current clinical knowledge, effective communication skills, and sensitivity to patient rights.
Supervised by the Patient Care Director or Manager; works in a clean, well-lit environment with exposure to infectious agents and potential stressors.
Must handle emergencies, perform physical tasks involving patient transfer, and operate with manual dexterity, visual, and auditory acuity.
