Job Description
Summary: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting in individualized care to help patients adapt to their health conditions and achieve wellness.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to policies and maintain professionalism.
Assist RN in developing care plans and report changes in patient conditions.
Document patient symptoms and responses accurately.
Promote patient education and ensure discharge needs are met.
Participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and effective communication.
Completion of LVN/LPN training and 6 months of clinical experience preferred.
Current state licensure and BCLS certification required.
