POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the specific age group of the assigned units, ensuring quality and safe care aligned with unit standards. Demonstrates effective work habits and treats all individuals with respect.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license; BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• SKILLS: Knowledge of patient rights, clear communication, and age-appropriate care.
• EXPERIENCE: Supervised by Patient Care Director or Manager.
• ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases; requires physical stamina and flexibility.
