Job Description
Seeking a full-time Speech/Language Pathologist to support individuals on the autism spectrum with excellent benefits and a $3000 sign-on bonus.
Provide assessments, develop and monitor communication goals, and create individualized programming at a day school.
Work within a multidisciplinary team, train staff, and engage with families through in-service sessions.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Communication Disorders or related field, ASHA certification, Rhode Island SLP certification, and 1-2 years’ experience with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities involve evaluating speech/language skills, writing IEP goals, developing communication materials, obtaining funding for devices, and managing behavioral interventions.
Participate in staff training, supervise liaisons, and attend center events. Must be First Aid, CPR, and Pro-Act certified, with additional medical certifications.
