Practice Setting: Critical care – inpatient 12-hour shifts- 7am-7pm Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 9 Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3 Trauma Level/Designation: II Total Number of Beds: 26 (unit shared with trauma team; not capped) Number of ICU Beds: 26 Number of Critical Care Physicians in Group: 7, plus other APPs Other Critical Care Physicians Present During Locum’s Coverage: Yes Locum Physician Required to Supervise Other Healthcare Providers: No Locum Involved in Covering/Supervising Teaching Services (Residents/Fellows): No Documentation System/EMR: Cerner/Oracle Practice Setting: Medical, neurocritical care Ventilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy) Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial Line Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: N/A Additional Procedures Required: ICP evaluation and management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days Requirements Certified Critical Care APP (APN or PA)-REQUIRED BLS, ACLS (must be must be American Heart Association issued) – REQUIRED Clean Background- highly preferred NJ license – REQUIRED Local candidates (only mileage will be reimbursed)- Required
